In July 2025, representatives of LAS Systeme GmbH and its partner company Holophane met for a groundbreaking meeting. The goal was to strengthen LAS's role as a distributor for Holophane in Germany and take their collaboration to a new level.
The meeting is taking place due to personnel and structural changes at Holophane: Long-standing contacts Luciano Sabatelli and Ian Evans are retiring after many years of service. Martin Kornaat and Ronald Hohmann will now serve as contacts for the German market.

Ronald Hohmann will support LAS even more intensively in the future – both in a consulting capacity and working with the LAS field service on-site for projects. A central theme of the meeting was the presentation of new products for 2025. The focus was particularly on the HOLOBAY™ high bay light, which the proven HALOPRISM™ will replace in the long term. HOLOBAY™ impresses with its extreme robustness, high light output and enables more efficient illumination with fewer lights – this saves installation effort and increases comfort for users.
New marketing and sales strategies were also developed jointly to further increase the visibility and marketing of Holophane products. Clear goals and agreements ensure even closer collaboration in day-to-day business.

Another focus was on sustainability. Holophane is continuing to EarthLIGHT-Program consistently focuses on environmentally friendly business processes, social responsibility and sustainable products.
Demand for sustainable solutions from Europe is growing, especially in the public sector – for example, in tenders from cities and municipalities. Holophane excels here with durable products and an exemplary supply of spare parts: Each luminaire is assigned a QR code that leads directly to all relevant information and spare parts.
With the upcoming EU "Right to Repair" regulation coming into effect in July 2026, many Holophane products are already designed to be future-proof. Insect protection is also playing a growing role: For outdoor applications, Holophane offers luminaires with warm color temperatures (3000 K and 2700 K). Regardless, warm color temperatures are also gaining importance in the workplace, as they are increasingly recognized by employers' liability insurance associations as ergonomically advantageous.
