Our partner ESYLUX invites LAS employees to a two-day training in Ahrensburg
Also present: colleagues from the field service, product managers, and lighting planners – a strong team that wanted to work together to bring themselves up to date with the latest developments in sensor-controlled lighting automation.
A warm welcome and first-hand expert knowledge
We were welcomed by ESYLUX Germany Managing Director Bernd Rossow, who successfully leads the company. Experienced experts Martin Suhs, Michael Jeserig, and Björn Lorenzen accompanied us throughout the training days. ESYLUX specializes in innovative, sensor-controlled automation solutions for lighting and buildings – a pioneering field for efficient and convenient lighting control.
Day 1:
Sensory basics and company tour
The first day began with an "About us" presentation from ESYLUX and a thorough introduction to the world of sensors. The instructors vividly explained the different sensor types, their functions, and their respective advantages and disadvantages.

Day 2:
Practice with the new APC sensors and app control
The second day of training focused on practical application. The new APC sensors were presented, which combine sensor technology and a DALI controller in a single device, thus enabling particularly flexible lighting control.
In extensive practical tests, our participants were able to configure the sensors themselves using the ESY app and program various lighting scenarios. The app's intuitive operation was impressive across the board and demonstrated how simple and efficient modern lighting control can be today.
