A hot start to the lighting season for LAS

A sweet visit from the Korsing bear to Tobias Hönerbach, our new field service colleague. Of course, the TENEO restoration project couldn't be left out of this photo.
In September, the LAS team completed a veritable trade fair blast: Within just three weeks, LAS was represented at five in-house exhibitions and the renowned efa:ON in Leipzig. The focus was on practical solutions for LED renovations, personal consultations, and innovations such as the new RUNDEO LED renovation insert.
Exciting discussions and technical insights were provided in Melle (Steintreff by Erst Stein), Flensburg (HaMeWi by Witte), Münster (memo by Mosecker), Cologne (Korsing in-house exhibition), and at the RINK summer festival in Solms. The TENEO LED retrofit insert once again played a central role, having been explicitly requested by many electricians as a legally compliant solution to the T5/T8 ban. With this solution, LAS offers a quick and straightforward way to retrofit old fluorescent tubes – a perennial favorite at the efa:ON trade fair in Leipzig, where numerous visitors specifically sought out our team for precisely this topic.

In a prime location and clearly visible: Anyone enjoying a refreshment in the catering area could hardly miss the LAS stand opposite.
The LAS booth at efa:ON was full steam ahead – the crowds were huge. Good preparation, numerous targeted invitations, and an attractive trade fair giveaway attracted numerous visitors.
Solutions as individual as the projects
Many visitors were fascinated by the individuality of LAS's work. What surprised many was that standard products are often just the beginning for us. Whether it's a special length for the TENEO renovation application or an ammonia-resistant version of the VENTO high bay luminaire for stables, we create tailor-made solutions that are a perfect fit for the respective environment, either directly at the factory or in collaboration with local partner companies, for example, in the metalworking industry.
Special requests such as special chlorine-resistant coatings, for example for lighting for swimming pools, were also discussed directly at the stand.

Beer, sausages, but also good conversation: Jochem Rink at the RINK summer festival in Solms.
RUNDEO & Co: Fresh ideas for renovation
As a newcomer to the trade fair, we're bringing the RUNDEO refurbishment insert – a true problem-solver that efficiently replaces round T5 and T9 lamps. With a freely selectable external driver, practical light color selection, and standard sizes, RUNDEO is particularly impressive for demanding housings – such as round housings with a central cutout or decorative luminaires for a virtually unchanged appearance. This clever refurbishment solution is not only flexible but also offers superior performance and a longer service life.

Old sockets remain unused. The refurbishment insert can be easily inserted into existing, well-maintained brackets and reconnected.
Holophane as a partner behind you
Anyone in Melle or Münster seeking in-depth advice on specialized luminaires, harsh environments, or individual projects was offered double the expertise – together with our partner company Holophane, LAS covers a wide-ranging portfolio. Many took the opportunity to discuss lighting solutions for very specific requirements with us and Holophane contact Ronald Hohmann.
The new HOLOBAY™ high bay luminaire is a prime candidate for the hottest halls. Suitable for ambient temperatures up to 70°C and equipped with a high lumen output as well as a wide range of control and emergency power options, HOLOBAY™ belongs to the "next generation" of robust high bay luminaires.

At the Steintreff in Melle, Jörg Weymann and Dennis Krumme represented their colleague Frank Lennertz, who was at the HaMeWi in Flensburg at the same time. They received support from Ronald Hohmann of Holophane.

Always well-supplied: Witte's mobile refreshment station stopped by the LAS stand every hour, providing new energy.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved
Anyone looking for LED solutions will find people here who care – before, during, and after the trade fair. For this, we extend our sincere thanks: to the team, to our partners, to all visitors, and to everyone who engages and inspires us with their questions, challenges, and suggestions.
