The Zander West in-house exhibition "ZANDER meets" once again delighted visitors with innovations in electrical and plumbing on May 9 and 10, 2025 – and LAS was there as an exhibitor for the third time in a row. At the LAS booth, the experienced NRW regional managers Jörg Weymann and Hans Zarm, as well as our expert LAS lighting planner Dennis Krumme, were personally available to answer any questions visitors may have about modern LED lighting solutions.
Industry meeting place in an exceptional atmosphere
More than 200 exhibitors and numerous visitors from the Ruhr region and beyond gathered in the impressive setting of the VELTINS Arena in Schalke to experience the latest trends and solutions in the electrical and plumbing industry. The event provided the perfect platform for exchange between tradespeople, retailers, industry, and municipalities.
A little side note with a wink:
Our LAS staff, avowed Dortmund fans, had to get used to the blue and white Schalke stadium backdrop – but true professionals don't let themselves get discouraged in their rival's stadium. In the end, the focus was clearly on the lighting, not the club colors!
LED renovation as a central visitor topic
In discussions with the numerous visitors, it became clear that LED renovation was the focus of interest. Representatives from cities and municipalities in particular showed great interest in our renovation solutions, which not only reduce energy consumption but also offer funding opportunities and pave the way to a sustainable future. Many electricians and project customers took the opportunity to learn about the advantages and possible applications of our products on site. Our innovative products precisely met the market's needs and impressed with their practical advantages.
